Dear ExperienceRO,

 

I'm happy to present to you a new permanent feature to ExperienceRO: "Enchantment"! This feature will replace the "Unlock" feature that we introduced earlier this year as this is a more thorough system and, will definitely enhance and bring new flavour to the game, and of course, your experience with us.

 

 

0. PREFACE

I am sure that you have, at some point of time, felt that, this item that you worked so hard for, example Elucidator, is the same as Player A's, Player B's, Player C's, and the other 99999999 Elucidators on the server (well there are no 99999999 Elucidators... just saying). And this makes the whole thing feels, ordinary... right?

 

Well to be very honest with you, I have always wanted to introduce a new flavour to your prized items, so that they will always be unique, one of a kind, and always will have its value. My first attempt at this was with the introduction of the "Unlock" system on ExperienceRO's Anniversary (December last year) which didn't quite pull off as I lacked time and the resources to work on it... but it wasn't swept under the carpet.

 

Today, we have a new system in place, called the "Enchantment" System, which will replace the "Unlock" System which we had.

 

 

1. HOW IT WORKS

There's an Enchantress, named Riley, located at Moonhaven 199 223.

 

Now she has harnessed the knowledge from the ancient gods and have mastered the skill to Enchant your equipment, for a small amount of fee of course (well considering the feature that is going and definitely make your item shine, I believe this amount is good enough.

 

Each piece of equipment may have a maximum of 3 Enchantments. Each of these Enchantments is randomly chosen by Riley, as well as it's value.

 

And... You cannot undo the Enchantment. It's permanent, fixed, forever, whatever.

 

 

2. ENCHANTABLE EQUIPMENT

You may enchant any one of these ten (10) parts per session at Riley's:

  1. Upper Headgear
  2. Middle Headgear
  3. Lower Headgear
  4. Body Armor
  5. Shield
  6. Garment
  7. Shoes
  8. Accessory: Left
  9. Accessory: Right
  10. Weapon

 

 

3. ENCHANTMENT FEE

Below are the fees incurred for the respective Enchantment Levels:

  • Level 1 Enchantment: 1,000x Platinum Coins
  • Level 2 Enchantment: 3,000x Platinum Coins
  • Level 3 Enchantment: 10,000x Platinum Coins

 

 

4. ENCHANTMENT RATES

Below are the success rates of the respective Enchantment Levels:

  • Level 1 Enchantment: 70% Success Rate
  • Level 2 Enchantment: 50% Success Rate
  • Level 3 Enchantment: 30% Success Rate

 

NOTE: Should your Enchantment fail, your equipment will be destroyed(deleted). However, you may safeguard your equipment from being destroyed by having a Diamond Grade 5 in your inventory. If you have a Diamond Grade 5 in your inventory, should the Enchantment fail, it will consume the Diamond Grade 5 instead of your Equipment.

 

 

5. ENCHANTMENT OPTIONS & VALUES

The following list are the possible Enchantments one can have on their equipment and their corresponding value range:

  • MaxHP + __  Value Range: 50-100
  • MaxSP + __  Value Range: 50-100
  • STR + __  Value Range: 1-20
  • AGI + __  Value Range: 1-20
  • VIT + __  Value Range: 1-20
  • INT + __  Value Range: 1-20
  • DEX + __  Value Range: 1-20
  • LUK + __  Value Range: 1-20
  • MaxHP + __%  Value Range: 1-50
  • MaxSP + __%  Value Range: 1-50
  • HP Regeneration + __%  Value Range: 1-20
  • SP Regeneration + __%  Value Range: 1-20
  • ATK + __%  Value Range: 1-5
  • MATK + __%  Value Range: 1-5
  • ATK + __  Value Range: 10-50
  • HIT + __  Value Range: 10-50
  • MATK + __  Value Range: 10-50
  • DEF + __  Value Range: 1-5
  • MDEF + __  Value Range: 1-5
  • FLEE + __  Value Range: 10-50
  • CRIT + __  Value Range: 10-50
  • Formless: Physical + __%  Value Range: 1-5
  • Undead: Physical + __%  Value Range: 1-5
  • Brute: Physical + __%  Value Range: 1-5
  • Plant: Physical + __%  Value Range: 1-5
  • Insect: Physical + __%  Value Range: 1-5
  • Fish: Physical + __%  Value Range: 1-5
  • Demon: Physical + __%  Value Range: 1-5
  • DemiHuman: Physical + __%  Value Range: 1-5
  • Angel: Physical + __%  Value Range: 1-5
  • Dragon: Physical + __%  Value Range: 1-5
  • Formless: Magical + __%  Value Range: 1-5
  • Undead: Magical + __%  Value Range: 1-5
  • Brute: Magical + __%  Value Range: 1-5

  • Remove weapon's size penalty
  • Critical: Damage + __%  Value Range: 1-5

  • Heal + __%  Value Range:  Value Range: 10-50
  • Cast Time - __%  Value Range: 1-5
  • After Cast Delay - __%  Value Range: 1-5
  • SP Consumption - __%  Value Range: 1-5
     
  • Enchantments in Blue Print are reduction bonuses.

 

 

6. NOTE

  1. FIXED: Card Removal will also remove all Enchantments from the equipment.
