@  Riley : (09 June 2018 - 07:17 PM) @yudibagol Try these solutions: Technical Support
Actually try them all because even though people say that they do try, I ask them to make sure to try #3 (Disable DEP) and #4 (Admin and Compatibility) again. They 'miraculously' seem to work when I directly ask them to do those.

#625 Niddhogr's Revenge

Posted by on 18 February 2016 - 11:32 AM

One Punch Man is no longer allowed to face Nidhoggr, so I've decided to post an almost fully completed optimized build to feast your eyes on. I eventually got a pinnacle after this video and the damage was in the 20mil+ range. Here's what a star gladiator can really do when played to its fullest.

GUIDE (Nidhoggr's Revenge)

Step 1: Use a star gladiator. It's unlikely any other class can compete with its damage output. This is because of the skill 'Hatred' and its interaction with Anger of the Stars.
Here is what Anger of the Stars level 3 does. It adds - (BaseLV+LUK+DEX)/3)% ATK (Tune your stats according to this formula)

Step 2: What you'll do is cast Hatred level 3 on a target MVP you wish to kill. In this case, Nidhoggr's Revenge. Make sure you aim carefully as you can only choose one target. Once you've designated him, you never have to repeat this step.

Step 3: Buffs. Enchant Deadly Poison and Warm Wind. Enchant yourself with an element of your choosing. Nidhoggr is a ghost 4, so using the ghost element will net a 200% damage increase over other elements. Neutral will miss, so give yourself something at least.

Step 4: Make sure /nc is on and click him.

Here are Nidhoggr's relevant stats:
LV:800 HP:700,000,000 HIT:33,567 FLEE:33,567  DEF:0  MDEF:30 VIT:1 LUK:700
Size:Large Race:Dragon Element:Ghost(LV:4)

A common question asked is why you aren't able to hit Nidhoggr even though you have 100 crit. This is because of a mechanic usually referred to as crit shield. Whenever you attack something, you take their LUK/5 to get their crit shield. This reduces your effective crit chance and you'll need to make up for this. 700/5=140. This means he'll reduce your effective crit chance by 140 meaning you'll want 240 crit chance in order to hit him at 100%.

Skills breakdown:These are skills I know it for sure uses and you'll need to plan around them.

Dragon Breath: This seems to hit with two different elements and is almost certainly the reason you got instakilled if you've fought him. Make sure you resist these two elements at 100%
This can be done with any combination of these cards along with resists from your gears.
Fire resist cards: Jakk(garment), Leib Olmai(headgear)
Water resist cards: Marse(garment), Leaf Cat(headgear)

Dispel: This will remove a large number of buffs including warm wind, which, if you aren't using an elemental book, will cause you to miss.. Normally warm wind cannot be dispelled, but there's a workaround for this by using 2 Golden Thief Bug cards.

Divest Accessory: This is extremely important to remember as both Nidhoggr and Firefox use this skill. Do not rely on your accessories and the cards within them such as Ifrit in order to overcome the crit shield. You will likely be without your accessories for a third to one half of the fight and if you can't hit the MVP to finish it off, someone else will.

Reflect Shield level 10: This will reflect 40% of your physical damage back to you and is the reason I strongly recommend using the Divine set in order to have a 100% chance of leeching life with sniper cards. Without this, you will almost for sure die nearly instantly from your own reflected damage.

I believe Marsh of Abyss is also used, but it won't affect you too much.

Around 20-25% HP, Nidhoggr often changes its element to either shadow or holy from what little testing I did, so if you notice your damage drop off while using ghost, simply switch to neutral or any of the opposing elements. With an optimized build though, he won't have a chance to change element, so this can be ignored if you've reached that point.

Here are the equips. You can mix and match according to what you have on hand to round out your stats.

Divine Manteau of the One [2x Jakk, 2x Marse]
Divine Shield of the One [2x Golden Thief Bug]
Divine Boots of the One [4x Megalith]
Encyclopedia [2x Sniper, 1 Abysmal Knight, 1 Paper.]
Any armor that adds +150 All Stats. [Any combination of Tao Gunka, Goats, Gloom Under Nights or other cards to fit your needs. You can't really go wrong here so long as you have enough life to survive the reflect damage.
Upper Headgear - Heroic Helm of Dominion/Grand Viking Helm [4x any card]
Middle Headgear - Poring Ring/Any headgear that adds +All stats if you are lacking any [4x any card]
Lower Headgear - True Back Shield of the Guardian/Glory of a Guardian [1 Leib Olmai, 1 Leaf Cat, 2x any other card]
You can round out the rest of the headgear cards with Gibbets if you'd like, but if you choose to go the awesome route of berserk, they won't mean much.

Stats. These are the only part I'm going to leave up to you because it depends entirely on what equips you have access to. All I advise is to once again make sure you have at least 240 critical hit chance without your accessories..
(BaseLV+LUK+DEX)/3)% ATK<- this is important to remember.

If you're weary of using only 2 snipers, don't be afraid. Nidhoggr's Revenge reflects 40% of your damage back to you. With the Divine Set+2 Sniper cards, you will drain life at 41%. At 16,000,000 damage, you leech approximately 160,000 per hit. At 196 ASPD, you attack 12.5x per second. This means you leech 2,000,000 hit points per second in a fight of around 3.5 seconds. It looks like I'm going to die at any moment during the video if you watch the life bar, but I assure you it's more than enough to keep you up even at 0 DEF, 0 MDEF.

I'll be adding an in-depth firefox guide attached to this.

#841 In-depth MVP Guide

Firefox

Firefox's relevant stats:
LV:800 HP:800,000,000 HIT:33,567 FLEE:33,567 DEF:0 MDEF:50 LUK:800
Size:Large Race:Demi-Human Element:Undead(LV:4)
2 hour+ respawn

Relevant Skills(?): (note: these skills may be wrong, but the elements it uses and the method in defeating it is proven regardless of any inaccuracies.)

Soul Taker -
Soul Breaker (neutral)
Dispel

Dragon Breath?: Firefox's Dragon Breath differs from Nidhoggr's Revenge in that it's only a fire element DB.

Divest Accessory: Again, remember to allocate your stats so that you have enough crit regardless of accessories and the cards within. 800/5=160 Crit Shield( get at least 260 crit w/o accessories.)

Full Strip: Full chemical protect yourself before you fight.

Holy Element Change: occurs at around 20-25% hp

Reflect Shield Level 10: This will reflect 40% of your physical damage back to you.

Deathbound Level 10-ish: Deathbound will amplify the damage you deal back at you. So far as I know, there's no way to reduce this damage. Level 10 will amplify your damage by 1500%. I believe it may be using anywhere between level 10 to level 15 Deathbound based on observations.

Gear
Divine Manteau of the One [4x Raydric Cards] - this is used to resist Soul Taker's soul breaker.
Divine Shield of the One [2x GTB/2xSeeker/2xExecutioner] This is up to you depending on needs. Most people will probably want seekers.
Divine Boots of the One [4x Megalith]
Upper Headgear - Any[4x Leib Olmai]
Middle Headgear - FCP Headgear [4x any card] Gibbets are nice.
Lower Headgear - Blessed Wings of Plentiful/Glory of a Collector[4x Leib Olmai] This is not entirely needed, but the splash helps with HP upkeep.
Armor: Any armor that gives +150 All Stats [1x Tao Gunka+any others such as Goat to fit your needs]

This will give 107% Fire Resist and 97% Neutral Resist.

Encyclopedia/Glorious Book of Apocalypse/Glorious Tablet[At least 2 sniper cards.] I'm only recommending 2 sniper cards so you can overcome the level 10 reflect shield. The other cards can be more snipers or any combination of damage cards. This all depends on the gear you have and you'll have to tailor your damage in respect to Deathbound. If you choose to use the Encyclopedia because you do not have access to the glorious books, just remember that it adds a large amount of crit. This means you can put more stats into STR or DEX. The Encyclopedia is by no means a bad weapon in this fight. Sorry, but I can't help you any more here and this is something that requires you to experiment and then modify as you improve your gears.

Stats:
Your stats are something that are very hard to help you with. All I'm going to recommend is to be sure your critical rate is at least 260 without your accessories, and that your damage not exceed 800-900k.(note: the higher your max hp is, the more damage you are allowed to deal) At 20,000,000 HP, 800-900k is normally a very safe number to keep your damage at. Beyond this and you are liable to be killed by deathbound. (There is more info on the advanced strategy section which I strongly suggest reading because more players will be joining the fight against Firefox and you'll need the information contained in that section if you want to come out on top.)

Normal Strategy
(this is the most common strategy and is used by the majority of players)

Step 1: Use hatred on Firefox. This is much tougher as Firefox is relatively the same size as the mobs it summons. The alternative to this is to camp inside the room and attack monsters until your Miracle activates. This turns all the monsters in the room into hatred targets. I'm not 100% sure, but this apparently can be dispelled. If you choose this method, you'll need a Divine Shield with 2x Golden Thief Bugs to prevent the dispel.

Step 2: Make sure /nc is on(I forgot in the video, I know) and attack Firefox.

Step 3: If Firefox moves away, use Flying Side Kick to reposition yourself on top of it.

That's about all there is to it for the normal strategy. You'll notice I left out buffs like Warm Wind, Enchant Deadly Poison, and so on. This is because your build will vary depending on gears you currently have and can obtain. If you can fit these into your build, then by all means do so. The best tip I can give you is to set your gears, stats, and skills up in such a way that you are always in control of your damage and can modify it through means which don't involve your auto-attack stopping or a buff running out. Stopping for any reason at all means a drop in DPS.

Advanced Strategy (used in the video)
(If you've ever wondered why Rend and I always get the mvp should we choose to fight Firefox, read on.)

Deathbound casts are not random. Between every Deathbound cast, you have 10 seconds where you have NO damage cap.  I normally play with effects on, but I recommend you to have your effects off during Firefox fights so it's easier to see Deathbound casts.

Step 1: Begin attacking with a setup that maxes at 800-900k damage. The first deathbound usually occurs 2-3 seconds after attacking.

Step 2: When deathbound occurs, reconfigure your gear and buffs and let it rip. Do not forget about Firefox's Reflect Shield Level 10. Count up to 9 seconds and switch back.

If you paid attention to the video, you'll see that I used 3 weapons. Book of Blazing Sun[fire] as the first switch, Glorious Tablet[neut] as the default, and Book of Apocalypse[shadow] as the final switch.

Firefox is an Undead Element Demi-Human. The Glorious Tablet at +10 gives 40%+slaughters 10-4^2% demi-human damage. Book of Blazing Sun is fire element so it will deal 200% damage to Firefox, or, in other words, an extra 100% damage putting it above the Glorious Tablet's 76% modifier. The Book of Apocalypse is for when Firefox uses Holy Element Change on itself at around 20-25% HP and is similar in usage as the Book of Blazing Sun. You always want to be dealing the maximum allowed damage at all times. This includes your incoming deathbound setup!

In the video is just an inkling of what you can do to take advantage of this strategy and not at all the fully optimized build usually used. If you're clever enough, you can take the damage much further than I've shown in the video. I'll let you all figure out that build for yourselves, though (:

I hope this helps everyone that's been struggling. Also, I have not proofread everything, so I'm sorry for any mistakes. We will no longer be camping mvps, so I hope you all have fun competing with each other!

Aaaaand the video(played more conservatively as I was getting lag spikes)

...Deal Damage (by Class)

Snipers / Clowns / Gunslingers

Basically, you need DEX and ATT stats. Sounds obvious doesn't it? However, what I meant by DEX & ATT is that you use customs, path sets, and cards in accessories to maximize these two stats as much as you can! DEX & ATT actually give alot more damage than % modifiers for ranged classes. Some simple recommendations for equipments are stated below:

Premium

[Top] +20 War Helm of General / +20 Hat of the Emperor

[Mid] +20 Mononoke mask / Death Note Scarfs / Odin's Ear Wing

[Btm] +20 Sage Ring of Power / Elucidator

[Path] Guardian Path Evolved Armor Set

[Acc] Ring of Visibility & Stewardship combo

Attainable

[Top] Kakashi Headband

[Mid] Poring ring

[Btm] Zoro Sword

[Path] Guardian Path Set

[Acc] +50 Pandora's Dex Rings x2

Wizards / Sages / Soul linkers / Ninjas / autocasting-whatever

Maximize the MATK stat. Use all the +magicaldamage% cards that you can (ratemyserver helps). Mages are kinda idiot-proof to make.

Everything else

Str, and use +% damage modifiers, they'll benefit you more.

Premium

[Top] Donation +40% ATT helmet

[Mid] Death Note Scarfs / Odin's Ear Wing

[Btm] +20 Sage Ring of Power / Elucidator / Glories

[Path] Any Path's Evolved Armor Set

[Acc] Ring of Visibility & Stewardship combo

Attainable

[Top] Helm of The One / Christine and Alexander +40% ATT headgears

[Mid] Poring ring / Alexander Scarfs

[Btm] Glories

[Path] Any Path Set

[Acc] +50 Pandora's Str Rings x2

---------------------------

...Get through Chapters 1 to 3

- Get to level 800/250

- Talk to the soldier found slightly above the middle of town @go 0

- Talk to the General and complete his hunting quest (only 3 items)

- Talk to Sophia, the lady beside him - CHOOSE YOUR PATH WISELY

(make sure your inventory isn't full before completing dialog, @jump or ALT+F4 if it is full)

- Talk to Sophia again to open up the Nidhogg & Firefox dungeon

- The dungeon entrance is a portal found somewhere below the middle of town

- Go in, find your way to level 3 where Nidhogg is at

- Kill [ Nidhogg ], you'll get warped to the General upon killing it, regardless of whether you got the drop or not

- Get the "Gravii's Ring" from Nidhogg and pass it to the General

- The General will now as you to hunt Soul Taker for it's drop the "Lost Soul"

- Get it. Pass it to that General.

- Another hunting quest will be given unto you (You'll need a Guardian path friend or alternate here for Big Magic Defence Potion)

- Finally, the entrance to the Firefox dungeon will be opened.

- Kill [ Firefox ]. Kill Firefox. Kill Firefox. Kill Firefox. Kill Firefox. Kill Firefox. Kill Firefox. (7 times, cause it has good drops)

- Get your Path's pinnacle

- Valkyrie will bring you into Odin's Armory and also give you your Odin's Blessings

(make sure your inventory isn't full or overweight before completing dialog, @jump or ALT+F4 if it is full/overweight)

- Talk to the Valkyrie to re-enter Odin's Armory

- Talk to Jessica (Moonhaven 205 235) to Unlock Vanadis

- Welcome to Vanadis.

---------------------------

...Kill Nidhogg & Soul Taker & Firefox

- Neutral / Fire / Water resistance

- Make sure you don't die from reflect, use Sniper and Baphomet cards. Logic? Sniper cards lets you life-leech on hit, Baphomet cards makes you hit everything in an AOE. This results in alot of life-leeching.

...Kill Valaris

- Neutral immunity

- Survive Soul Breaker (Demi-resists)

- Use Sniper cards

...Kill Shell King

- "You High?"

#134 The Path System

Posted by on 24 January 2016 - 04:22 PM

title02.png

There are 5 paths that you can choose from. Namely,

[The One] | [Hero] | [Guardian] | [Collector] | [Divergent]

theone.png

“A rather lonely path, as The One, spends all of his or her time, strength, and concentration, separated from the rest of the world, into intense training, to be the best in the Rune-Midgard Kingdom.” - Sophia, the Overseer

The One is a path where you dedicate your time in solitude at a special place, defeating countless amounts of monsters, to become stronger.
To earn points, you must defeat monsters in this special place.
(At a chance, you will gain either Seals of Endurance or Consecration every 5000 points obtained.)
The mentor of The One path is Kenshin Himura, located at moonhaven 273 84

hero.png

“A risk-taking path, as a Hero, sacrificing one’s life to, defend one’s Kingdom, and also joining in arms with others, raging war on neighbouring kingdoms, skies filled with songs of victory.” - Sophia, the Overseer

The Hero is a path in which you fight a lot of players and defeat them to obtain points. This path is recommended for confident PvPers, especially those who are above average in skill.
To earn points, you must kill players in either the Kage’s Arena, or Survival World.
You gain 5 points by killing other players in PvP.
(At a chance, you will gain either Seals of Mastery or Dominion every 220 kill points THAT ARE RECORDED BY HIEI. Kage doesn’t count.)
The mentor of Hero path is Hiei, located at moonhaven 180 66

guardian.png

“An honorable path, as a Guardian, sacrificing one’s life to protect the Rune-Midgard Kingdom from threats of man and monsters, leaving behind his or her family, friends, and loved ones, but also leaving a legacy that will last for centuries.” - Sophia, the Overseer

The Guardian is a path where you fight dragons and demons to defend Moonhaven and the Rune-Midgard Kingdom. This is a path recommended for characters used in MvP/PvEing, especially those who are capable of fighting in the Storyline dungeons (Eden, Eclage, Valaris, etc) and Bossnia with minimal to no issues.
To gain points, you must kill demon-type or dragon-type MvPs.
You gain (10-30) points randomly whenever you kill those 2 mentioned MvP races.
(At a chance, you will gain either Seals of Sacrifice or Bravery every 5000 points.)
The mentor of Guardian path is Arturia Pendragon, located at moonhaven 173 127

collector.png

“A path of appreciation, as a Collector, searching the ends of the Realm for very rare which are not very well-treasured by ordinary men, seeking after richness, fame, and honor, well-respected by people of all ranks and type in the Rune-Midgard Kingdom.” - Sophia, the Overseer

The Collector’s path is also of participating in MvP, except you aim for their loots and collect them. Again, the path is recommended for MvPers that are capable of MvPing, and farmers, as the gears given by the keeper is catered to benefit a farmer.
To gain points, you must take quests from your path mentor and accomplish them.
You gain (10-30) points randomly whenever you successfully complete a quest.
(At a chance, you will get either Seals of Knowledge or Integrity every 700 points.)
The mentor of Collector path is Liliruca Arde, located at moonhaven 159 264

divergent.png

“A path of the highest mastery as a Divergent commits into intense training and hardship in order to be swift in one's movements. It will feel almost immortal not being hit. The thrill you'll experience running past and through monsters with speed like the wind, fierce like the storm and the speed like lightning. That's what a Divergent is.”

- Sophia, the Overseer

The Divergent's path is exhausting due to the dungeons, but in exchange grants the holder of its seal high prowess in agility, becoming adept at dodging most physical attacks.
To gain points, you must go through the "Trials of a Divergent" which consists of 3 levels where you need to look for the black-portal NPC named Level X, where X = the next level.

(Level 1: 10k - 20k points; Level 2: 20k - 30k points; Level 3: 30k - 50k points)
(At a chance, you will get either Seals of Reflexes or Seals of Skillfulness every 1,000,000 points.)

The mentor of the Divergent path is Lucina, located at moonhaven 295 136

NOTE:
Since this is a constantly changing feature of the server, this guide will change as well if new material

is developed for the path system. And since the server's new, this may not be fully complete and is in the process of

being updated. Sorry if some parts aren't accurate, I haven't drank a coffee when I made this. :(

title0.png

Heya, reader! First, I’d like to introduce myself before we proceed to this guide.
My name’s Aerofox, just call me Aero for short.

This guide will tackle the most prominent and unique feature our server has, which is the Path system.

You’ve probably seen a glimpse of it when you saw the server on RMS.
(PS. If you have given the server a review, kudos to you! :D)

Anyway, this guide (requested by Jacque) would hopefully help you understand the Path System better. If you have any questions, don’t be shy to post it here!

Now, enough of that. Let’s get to the point of this thread.

#885 ExperienceRO: Chapter 3

Posted by Jacque on 25 February 2016 - 11:48 AM

Dear ExperienceRO,

Chapter 3 will be released towards the end of March (I hope we can release it as early as possible tho). As with every Chapter release, we could expect new monsters, MVPs, items, maps, dungeons, etc. What I'm also hoping with Chapter 3 is, the release of another Path to choose from, my artist is currently working on them and I hope it'll be ready as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, there will be another batch of HGs released at the end of next week... So... stay tuned and... yes... Greater things are yet to come =)

#5971 The beginner guide - The Gunslinger Way

Posted by Candy on 02 July 2017 - 03:37 AM

http://experience-ro...ides-directory/ - guides directory
For temple farm and firefox and etc(ignore the sinx stuff and other stuff that goes against what i say in here):
http://experience-ro...dated-15122016/

I will try to be quick on this guide and i will also consider that you know how to kill nidhoggr, that you need 100neut, 100mdef for farming in Eden and Eclage, how to farm in bossnia in case you need cards and how to farm in temple.
You will need to spend a bit of time in temple to get Approvals and some elite sets. Ask in town for bubble gums, if i'm online, i will prolly give you a few.
If you don't know these stuff, try searching in these section, there are a few guides about it.

Obs: desperado relies on Seeking attack on bosses like nidhoggr, firefox, soul taker, valaris and others. Also remember to, when going to endless, to use @alootid +7048 and 7043 since both the items very important to pinnacle collector. When using the blood branches, remember to use @alootid + on all the items that collector needs. Here is a list of the ids:
7020, 7451, 7566, 7291, 7294, 7036, 7450, 1029, 4403, 7300, 7513, 7211, 7114, 7018, 7169, 7108, 968, 7048, 7443

Consider that you just started and you don't know what do, follow these steps USING COMMON SENSE – Which it means that this isn’t NECESSARILY what you will do, it is more like orientations so you know what your goals will be:

1 - Make a Guardian Gunslinger, a Collector Gunslinger and a Hero Gunslinger
2 - Farm at least one Kakashi Headband(way more important than crown in the start) and a Crown of King. To get those, you will need to equip a Myst Case card on your headgear to farm gift boxes for dyestuff and farm dead branches
to summon Hardrock Mammoth to then get hard skin with @alootid +hard skin

3 - Once that is done, get the gunslinger ready for Eden 3 and Eclage 1 and also ready your hero for Hero Path.
For hero farming as gunslinger you will need 100 mdef,100 neutral, 100 fire and 40-70 seeking. To get that seeking, mummy+ancient mummy cards + ifrit ears of seeking(drops from pandora's headgears)is probably enough and a brokkr if you have good friends that can lend you or if you are donating(usually 1 brokkr costs 6-10 dc in #map market).

To pinnacle a gunslinger, the strategy is, once you have the set(kakashi headband, zoro sword, 100 neutral,100mdef, RSX on armor, 100 fire): mass pull mobs till last rooms, get them
clumped in 1-2 cells, walk till you get 1 cell away from them, spam desperado till the damage buff mobs give you is out. After that, walk a bit till you get the buff again(unless there are less than 7-10 mobs alive)
and repeat. Once you get close to floor 20, relog and repeat it all.
4 - You can do it for 1,2,3 or how many gunslinger you want for pinnacles to get hero sets and a few glorious weapons.

5 - Considering you've read the other guides regarding niddhoggr, firefox and soul taker, the build on them is kinda simple: get the resists, some seeking and spam desperado when close to them. You prolly won't be able to get 100 mdef AND RSX at the same time if you don't have Circle of Protection, so you can just remove RSX and kill them in a slower way. It works also. On nidhoggr, i recommend you to put 1 sniper on your pistols.
6 - Once you got the stuff you need, get ready, cuz now you will have to spend some time on Eclage 2 farming miths, plats and gold. Your goal is to farm about 5k-6k plats in there. That will take you a few days. The strategy is to walk around the zone and pull most mobs and do the same as in The Hero Floors and desperado them out. Once you do it,
you should go buy Bloody Branches in the #map market. Usually they cost 1k BBs=500 plats. Buy around 8k bloody branches. You can also go to the jumper and mushroom events to get ETs. People(i, for example) sometimes sell BBs for Event Tokens too.

7- After that, get your gunslinger guardian ready(2 orc hero,2 marduk, 1 sniper in the pistol at least) to kill some MvPs for about 2-3h.. Go to Branch Room and get ready to grind down the bloody branches after you used an Approval of a Guardian. Use Silver bullet, because after some time using BBs there will only be Valkyries left. Swap to normal, kill them, swap back to silver bullet. Repeat. You will then pinnacle(70k guardian points) and procced to kill firefox to get to Vanadis. You should use your points to get a guardian set(boots, 2x manteau, 1 shield) or 1 circle of protection and spend the rest as you see fit. That part is completely up to you, since you buy the set for plats in the #map market or normal market/ Bronze Duelist Coin/ etc.
8- You can repeat this process to get more collector items and then pinnacle your Collector gunslinger with approval of a collector (I recommend you to always have a professor that hasn’t killed nidd to go temple 1 to farm approvals)
9- After getting your Collector Gunslinger and your Guardian Gunslinger to Vanadis, you should then get ready for farming the Valaris keycard. As guardian and collector(specially Guardian), it is kinda easy. Infected Eremes usually soul breaks you for 8,7mil damage. With 1 ogretooth on shield, you should reduce that damage by 55%. Also, since you are guardian, assumptio should be up almost all the time. Also the set give bonus HP. For van_lab01(keycard) you should get 100 fire, 100 mdef, 100 neutral, and around 40 seeking(ifrit ears + brokkrs if you can). You should also get 1-2 sniper in your main weapon. The bullet you will use depend.

Also, ask in town if some1 more geared is willing to help you summon Valaris. People in here are very helpful and friendly. This part of the main chapters is kinda of a gamble, because you won’t know if he is up or no. Usually, you should get around 1200-1500 mithrils(if you are collector/guardian, because of perma bubble gum) for him to summon.
I REALLY recommend you to ask for the help of some1 to help you to summon and kill Valaris, so that you only get the last hit and they do the hard work. The same will be for Shell King in the future.
10 – After you killed Valaris, you will unlock Sunken City. You will need a party of 7 people online to enter there by talking to the Chief in Vanadis. Don't forget to talk to the Old Lady to get Brokkr quest and also you can talk to Knight later on to enter in dungeon without needing to talk to Chief - until "Time's up". Get 100 fire,100 neutral, 100mdef and keep some distance from the red clam mobs. A G pistol is better than a shotgun in here because of extra range of revolvers. Use 2 Flora, 1 Tg, 1 Sniper. Well, if you reached in here, you probably got good contacts, good friends and some1 already told you what you will do in the future.
11- You will need to farm the 4 keys - Wisdom, Courage, Integrity, Humilty - to be able to go to Sunken City and kill Shell king(van_dun02). To get the keys, just farm in the dungeon for quite some time. I recommend you to spend some hours in van_dun01 farming the shell mobs with the tips i gave in (10). After you get at least 1 of each key, you will need to lift the pillars. 1 is on the right side of the main castle in top middle of the map. The other is on 5 o'clock of the map. Another one is on the top right of the map. 2 of them are Totems, and 2 of them are like Gray big Statues.  Once you lift the 4, spirit will summon you. Speak to him and he will bring you to sunken city. In sunken, equip CROWN OF KING +10/+20 and also bring with you an extra guardian Manteau with 1 Assassin Cross Card, because of the debuff he will give you. Also, have a +10 Holy Scarf/Ghost Scarf in hand,  because you will need it for Shell King. Against the mobs, just keep Earth Scroll Elemental on weapon(g.pistol or any other pistol) at all times to maximize your damage. You will have to kill many many many mobs(i think it is 900, so since every mob drops crystal blue, try counting the amount by counting the number of crystal blues) till [Shell King] gets summoned. Just keep on going till he is summoned. Once you see him ,the strategy is very simple: you need to use mild wind lvl 5 to maximize your damage on Shell King, since he is ghost, get near him to desperado him and do the following, 2-3 desperado and invis, but do it FAST,or else he will kill you and you will need to walk all the way back there. Just repeat that until he dies. Any doubts regarding that, just pm me in-game.

12- After killing him, you should ask for some1 to LEND you(be honest and grateful to people please) an Evolution Stone so that you can show it to Chief. Once that is done, keep on talking to him and he will give you a Mithridatum so you can heal Eitr(the curse that reduces your mdef). After that, go talk to General in moonhaven and, after that, talk to Petra.
13- Hunt 3 cursed mvps.

14- Once you're done with the curseds, Valkyrie will talk to you. Go talk to general and tell him about what Valk told you. He will make you join "the Order".

15- Talk to your Path Keeper and decide which Force/Fortress you will want. As a Collector, you should go for Temple Raider Fortress always. As Guardian, Damage Force. Once you decided, go talk to your Path Master and decide if you want Attack(Force) or Defense(Fortress). He will give you a coin. Go to Path Keeper - don't logout,  dunno if @jacque fixed that logging off bug already - and buy the force/fortress that you want.

16- Finished. Wait for Chapter 7 release.  (i'll edit these last parts as time goes on to improve it).

Observation: sometimes temple 3 will be too crowded, so you can go Sunken city(van_lab02) or van_lab01 to farm. It is good too.

APENDIX: The Star Gladiator Part - Farming Gold as Collector SG to get the initial plats.
(coming soon...)

The ultimate farming goal is to putting your COLLECTOR in Chapter 6 to get the Temple Raider Force to grind farm in Temple 3-4. Hope I helped. I will edit this guide in the future to correct and adjust some stuff. People more experienced in farming can comment in here to help to.
Pm Candy, M e g u m i or Ye Ziyun in-game if you have doubts and need help

Cheers <3

Server Specifications

Take a good took at ExperienceRO - General Customization for details about the server's customization. ExperienceRO is a pre-renewal SHR; it does not have renewal monsters or most of the other renewal-only features due to renewal instability. We do not have third jobs as they can be imbalanced. Perfect dodge and certain resists are capped. All equipable items have 4 slots, even if they don't show it, except for shields which have 2 slots. Regular cards drop at 100%, while MvP cards drop at 10%. The Bubble Gum effect can be used to increase the chances of obtaining items. Also, make sure to check ExperienceRO - Skills & Items Customization.

Gameplay

Refer to the Commands and Game Controls for available commands.

We have a story-line with six chapters so far (Chapter 7 coming soon!). The quests, monsters, and people that you will encounter are all interrelated.

We have a unique Path System, about which details and more information can be found on the forums and in the game.

The server is considered "Kiel-based", meaning you'd have to use Kiel D-01 Cards to reduce after-cast delays. Each Kiel D-01 Card reduces after-cast delays by 25%.

Warnings

Server Rules and Regulations

Read the ExperienceRO - Server Rules & Regulations thoroughly. In summary:

  • No macros or third-party software are allowed.
  • No AFK farming is allowed at all or via means of macros, bots, auto-cast builds, reflect builds, homunculus, etc.
  • Do not disrespect anybody on the server, including both players and GMs.
  • Do not defame the server nor advertise another server. If you are not enjoying your time here, we hope you find another server that suits you better.
  • Vending and marketing outside of normal set areas are not allowed.
  • Trading of accounts and items for real currency is strictly prohibited.
  • Users are accountable for their own actions.

Reporting

If you decide to report an incident or another player, make sure that you have all sides of the situation observed and analyzed before making any claims. In some cases, evidence will be required. If you feel you are being bullied or in anyway harassed by another player, please try to provide any evidence of the incident and report to the GMs immediately.

Stackable Items Cap

There is a 30k cap on stackable items. Any "attempt" to over-stack will result in a loss of items. If you have any amount of pieces of Gold in your inventory, say 42 Gold, opening a Gold 30000 Box will not change your gold to 30,042 pieces, but will remain as 42 pieces, and the rest of the 30000 Gold will drop on the ground. Users will not be compensated for accidentally dropped items.

Weight

There is a 100-unique-items limit in your inventory and equipment. This means that if you already have 100 slots taken in inventory and equipment, you cannot receive any new items. Bottom line, you cannot carry more than 100 different items.

If your character is overweight, it cannot receive any other items.

Make sure you always have extra space in your inventory, with extra slots and that you are not overweight.

If you already have 98 items or are overweight when you reach your pinnacle, you will not receive your blessing and will have to re-login to receive a new blessing if you missed it. The same applies to the obtaining of other items.

Again, users will not be compensated for missed items.

MATK Cap

There is a cap of ~65,000 points on MATK, more or less, so be careful when setting your INT or using high MATK equipment that may overflow and thus reset your MATK

Submission of Lost Soul

When submitting the item Lost Soul to General Van Handel, he will take all the pieces of Lost Soul that you have in your inventory. For this reason, make sure to only have one Lost Soul in your inventory to be submitted to the General.

Leveling

Before you start progressing in the game, you must level up to a base level of 800 and a job level 250. This can be done easily when equipping the Basic set that every new character gets in their inventory (Alt+E), coupled with the Batte Manual X3, which lasts for half an hour each. The main leveling map is accessed through the Playground Kid NPC (@warp moonhaven 259 183) and doubles as a Gold room (autoloot with @alootid +gold).

If you find that Playground Kid is too difficult as a Novice, try @warp prt_maze03, then come back to Playground Kid when you change jobs.

Novices' maximum job level is 10, and a job change can be made through the Job Master NPC (211 195). All other jobs can be changed at job level 50. Leveling more than that is redundant; the stats any other bonuses will not remain, so you will only be wasting time. Only when you are in your last job stage, level up to 800/250 through the Playground Kid. You will know you are in your last job when you click on the Job Master and he says "No more jobs are available."

Bossnia (MvP Room)
We have an MvP room named "Bossnia" which can be accessed from the Bossnia Soldier (159 186). To survive in Bossnia, you need 100% neutral resistance and 100 MDEF. There is an NPC in Moonhaven (217 183) that will show you the cards that you need when you right-click on her and check her equipment info. It is recommended that you go to Bossnia after you fully level up to 800/250 and have already chosen your path to receive your respective path's upper headgear. You can use navigation commands to show you directions that will lead you to the next level in Bossnia:
  1. Level 1 going to Level 2: /navi bossnia_01 152/115
  2. Level 2 going to Level 3: /navi bossnia_02 64/78
  3. Level 3 going to Level 4: /navi bossnia_03 84/51

The navigation to Bossnia level 4 will lead you to stand on a cliff. Zoom out until you see a floating rock in front of you. Hover over the bottom of the rock and you will see that it is clickable and says "Level 4". You will be asked "There's a hidden lever. Pull?" Selecting "Pull" will warp you to Bossnia level 4.

Dragon MvP: Detardeurus / Detale

Demon MvPs: Beelzebub, Dracula, Baphomet, Memory of Thanatos, Moonlight Flower, Tao Gunka, Doppelganger, Fallen Bishop Hibram, Lord of the Dead

Gearing Up

All characters start with a Basic set. This is sufficient enough for leveling up, but you will need to earn yourself better ones afterward. You can start by completing the quest "General Van Handel: Handel's Recommendation" by bringing him three items (skeletal armor piece, will of red darkness, and fire dragon scale). After that, you will receive a Professional set, which is stronger than the Basic set, and is sufficient for Bossnia. The next tier set would be the Elite set, which can be earned from the formless Temple Spirit monsters from the Forgotten Temple, which is a customized map that can be accessed from NPC Petra, found on the left side of Moonhaven. You can use neutral, fire, and wind resistances to help with fighting Temple Spirits. You should use a ranged or magic class character to keep your distance from the Temple Spirits. Also from the Forgotten Temple, you can find plant-type Temple Seals which can drop weapon chests and more.

Use the @whodrops command for a list of monsters that drop a specified item, and use the @mi command for more information about a specified monster.

Storyline

This server runs on a storyline. We suggest that you read what the NPCs have to say to know what it is that you're doing, what you will be doing, and why. Believe us when we say that it will make your adventure that much more interesting.
Throughout the storyline, you will be required to kill customized chapter MvPs. These are not regular MvPs, and are modified to be much stronger than your average monsters. You will need certain resistances and other requirements in order to counter them. There are three types of customized chapter MvPs: regular, chapter, and cursed.
Regular: time-based and leave tombs. Their kills are not required and do not count toward chapter kills, but they drop the same items as the chapter MvPs.
Chapter: summoned by killing a number of mobs in their maps. Their kills are required as part of the chapters. Some of their drops are required to be submitted to certain NPCs as part of the storyline. Chapter MvPs have brackets around their names, like so: [ Nidhoggr's Revenge ], [ Firefox ], [ Shell King ]
Cursed: These can drop Seal of Exorcism, which is needed as part of the chapter requirements and as a quest item for the Petra NPC. They have a 50% chance of being summoned during Black Moon after killing the summoned versions.

LUK: 700

ATK: 32,767 ~ 32,767

Range: 3 ~ 10 ~ 12

Size: Large

Race: Dragon

Element: Ghost (Lv:4)

Drops

Platinum Coin 100%

Platinum Coin 100%

Pandora 100%

Pandora 100%

Refine Potion 20%

+10 Weapon Refine 10%

+10 Armor Refine 10%

Weapon Chest 5%

*                       Gavriil's Ring 50%

MVP Items:

Pandora 100%

Pandora 50%

Pandora 100%

Alright, so in the time I've been playing I've found that Nidhoggr's deals 4 types of elements

Fire/Water/Poison/Neutral

If you can resist these 4 elements, you should be able to tank him on easy.

Here is also a build to help Assassins.

Sniper Card = 5% chance to take your damage and heal you 20%

Example.

Say your dealing 20,000 Damage.

There is a 5% chance while your attacking that 20% of the 20,000 Damage

20% of 20,000 = 4000

20% of 250,000 =  50,000

20% of 500,000 = 100,000

You can also Stack this card

Not full sure. *This is what I'm thinking*

Sniper Card x 4 Formula

I have 2 formula's for this

1st

5% of 20%

10% of 40%

15% of 60%

20% of 80%

(Hat 5% of 20% added)

2nd

5% of 20%

5% of 40%

5% of 60%

5% of 80%

Those are the 2 formula's I can come up with...

The 2nd formula

Where

5%

Would proc as a alignment. such as Vanberk.

I'm pretty sure the 1st Formula's Correct tho

Also Utilize the Pandora Headgear box.

Life Leeching Bishop Hat

(Sniper Card Effect)

*So If you were wondering about the asterisk, I put it there because you use the Gavriil's Ring to Ascend to the next dungeon

(Jacque, has this removed at the time being)

#3984 Not Quite As Planned...

Posted by Jacque on 24 August 2016 - 12:43 AM

Dear ExperienceRO,

Well, supposingly the past week we were supposed to undergo the maintenance exercise and have our emulator upgraded which also means that there will be new features added as well... Well... didn't go as planned it seems.

I got to know that the task to convert the emulator files are very tedious and at what more... time consuming... after converting a batch of files/modules, a series of testing entails to see if they are working as they should, etc. Good news is... it's still in progress... and... it shouldn't take much longer. I hope that you'll be patient with us, as this task is being done by a friend of mine whois doing even though he's very busy.

Having this said, I regret to inform you that Chapter 5 may not be released fully. I'll be releasing it partially as what happened in Chapter 4 and, though it's not the whole deal, trust me, it's good enough to get you busy and also give you a different perception to the game as well.

Things that will be seen in Chapter 5 would be:

- (Quest) Gem Cutting: The ability to make gemstones which are slotted into your accessories. COMPLETE

- (Quest) The Cursed: A different set of Custom MVPs.

- (Achievement) Ethereal Weaponry: Gives the user the ability to gain more stats from the weapon based on his/her achievements in game. COMPLETE

- (Achievement) Forgotten Temple 4: MVP - Sphinx

- Job Exchanger: Don't like your job anymore? You can change it ONE time for a rather "handsome" fee. Yes ONE time per character.

- "Evolution" Exchanger: Want to tweak your build to be the best but you got the wrong Evolution Stone? Hope is here! COMPLETE

- Forgotten Temple: Drops revamped for Temple 1, Temple 2, and Temple 3. COMPLETE

- Custom Armor Cards.

- Fixed minor bugs here and there.

- Fixed item descriptions. COMPLETE

So yeah, bear with us, bear with me... Amazing is on the way... =)

#3359 One After Another...

Posted by Jacque on 10 July 2016 - 05:06 AM

Dear ExperienceRO,

Well it seems ordeal started on me two weeks ago when my laptop died. A week later I rushed back home (hometown) after gotten news that my dad burnt his left leg kinda badly and refused to be admitted into the hospital to get medical attention. To make things more challenging, the place where I am, is celebrating Hari Raya and the hospital seems to be under-staffed.

I managed to get a new laptop also when I came back, dun worry server money not touched hahaha... But tried working on it since and to find I had to send it to the service centre for repair coz the sata controller or the sata drive is faulty. I'm still without a laptop to work on.

So I had been rushing my mom and dad up and down the clinic at first, then the hospital with mom, and yes, I lack sleep, I'm tired and I'm drained. My dad had been scheduled to undergo a procedure, fasted 19 hours yesterday only to be told it had to be postponed today, and it was done at 4:30 am.

But behind all these, my God has been good to me that despite all that we had to go through, managed to do all I could and fiancée is on his way so he can take over the driving back to where I've to be for work tomorrow.

Not to mention you guys n girls have been exceptionally amazing and seeing the server sustaining herself in this manner in my absence is also something noteworthy as well.

Thanks everyone who put in lots of effort trying the keep the server together. And to those who tried to ease my burden in getting a new laptop as well. You know who you are.

Cheers! ExperienceRO from glory to glory!
